About the work
I love when I discover a new barn to paint that is right down the road from where I live! I came upon this barn that was tucked away behind a farmhouse, and I had to capture it on canvas. The barn was bathed in sunlight perched on a hillside. I pushed the contrast in the painting even further so the viewer can feel the warmth of the day.
