This image is a composite of a rock formation and sunset that were photographed within minutes of each other in Joshua Tree National Park. We set out to watch the sun fall over the beautiful rock formations and I couldn't help but photograph it so as to save some of the beauty through my lens. In combining these images, I wanted the viewer to experience the beauty of a desert sunset.

    about the artist

    byLissabeth Anglin

    Lubbock, TX

I've been a professional photographer for over a decade, but love making art in just about every form. My illustrations and paintings tend to be floral and a bit quirky, and my photography leans toward line and texture...but there's always room for something new. You'll find me working while sipping a coffee- mostly late at night, while the kids are asleep.
