About the work
All That Jazz is an abstract acrylic painting with playful lines and swirls. I used black, white, grey and blue-grey colors, which gives a smokey blue-grey tone. I loved being playful while painting the big strokes and I enjoy seeing the texture of the paint brush as the paint colors meld together. Its simplicity lends itself to compliment any contemporary or modern space.

The San Francisco Bay Area, is where I am sheltering at home with my husband and college bound son. My older son works in Los Angeles. Paint colors, shapes and textures bring me happiness and carry me to a whole new world. I am grateful painting allows me to escape the realities of the pandemic. I look forward to being able to paint theater sets with my comrades at WVLO again.
