About the work

I've been experimenting with near infrared photography, both color and black and white expressions. The filter is fairly dark, and it requires a long exposure, which casts a glassy stillness upon any water, such as the lake here. The boats seem merely placed on top of the water, as if it were a table. A table of unearthly orange.
