About the work

I wanted to make a print that would be encouraging to children and so I chose to hand letter the phrase "The Sky is the Limit." I created a hot air balloon illustration with clouds to emphasize the phrase because as a child there always seemed to be hot air balloons in the sky during summertime. It is still exciting to me as an adult to spot one floating through the air.
