About the work

I love lettering in watercolor—making beautiful, sweeping marks with brilliant color. Finding the right words is difficult, but I liked the sentiment of this quote and thought it would be a great wish for a child's room. I like the changes from color to color in the letters, and the way the water makes that happen spontaneously.
