About the work

"Mountain Movements" represents the movement cold gusts of wind over a mountain top. The migration of the air was created by using palette knives to create visual texture. This painting is part of Kristen's 100 Days of Alla Prima series, in which she painted a single oil painting everyday for 100 days.
