About the work
Pulling together different shapes of different colors into intersecting planes, this piece took shape on its own as I worked the land and sky together. As a fictional landscape, I wanted some semi-representation but overall, keep it within an abstract framework. Thus, this might be a place one has seen, crossed, or passed in life. It could be waterfall, atmospheric fog, rock formations, etc.

I have a continuous curiosity of things involving art and design, nature, music, architecture, and photography, and inspiration is never in short supply. With a great cup of coffee and most likely a tasty pastry too, I'm always up for a Minted Challenge. But just as easily is any happy chance to hang out with my wife and kids and our terrific dog and cats.
