Wandering around Amsterdam, I was overwhelmed with inspiration. The old, perfectly imperfect canal houses melted me from the inside out on a freezing winter day. I've always enjoyed shooting during the golden hour, just before sunset, but the golden hour in Amsterdam was more magical than any other I've experienced. I love shooting a minimal skyline shot in every destination I visit, and this one happens to be one of my favorites.
