Hot, bright and light pink flowers are layered atop a bold yellow background to form a portrait of a sheep, named Fiona. Fiona brightens every room and can put even the shyest newcomer at ease. She is the friend who matchmakes new friendships faster than you can shake a lamb's tail. When not taking in art, Fiona can often be found teasing babies into a smile from a frame in a nursery or adding pops of color and cheer just hanging in a living room. Inspired by the sense of play often found in nature, this piece is a whimsical celebration of flora and fauna, a hallmark of my art practice.
