About the work

As an artist, I am always seeking to expand my knowledge of different media and materials. This cat, drawn with Sumi ink and colored pencil, is a fun example of the experimentation that happens in the studio. Using both dry-brush and wash techniques, I created the various textures on this simple illustration.
