Vintage things and typography have incredibly inspired me. This piece is inspired by old-school pennant flags. The combination of hand lettering and college-style font gives it an outdoorsy feel that will bring a little retro vibe to any adventurer's room!

ABOUT THE ARTIST

by Darby McGuire
Darby McGuire is a designer, illustrator, and hand letterer living in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her work is largely inspired by vintage typography and a healthy heap of wonder and whimsy. Born and raised in Chicago, she loves a good piece of deep-dish pizza and sharing her Midwestern charm (ope). When she’s not designing, she’s probably reading a good thriller, whipping something up in the kitchen, or cuddling her cat Dudley. less
