I am inspired by old, vintage items and love pieces with character. I am always trying to find new life in old things. For this piece I used gouache paint, it's a highly pigmented water color. I applied it on raw canvas. As the water flows through my paintbrush and into the paints, it speaks for itself on the canvas. I don't create every single stroke, instead I let the color flow however it wants, like it has a mind of its own. I try to let the energy and emotion of the painting come to life though my paintbrush.
