Originally from rural New England - my inspiration stems from a love of the land and nature. My work speaks of memories of mountains and rolling hills split by sparkling rivers and covered by lush green forests and of days spent in rainbow-like gardens. As an adult I have been lucky to live in and travel to many places that have informed and inspired me. Here I am pulling from memories of the the Carolina tidewaters. In this piece I use color teamed with a graphic composition and painterly touch to describe the energy of the landscape.
